Who Are We?

Delicious Tea and Icecream since 2000

Mitchell’s Ice Cream opened for business on June 6, 1953. Larry and Jack Mitchell’s goal was to make the very best ice cream in San Francisco. The Mitchells started out with nineteen flavors; all made with 16% butterfat cream and superior ingredients. They continued to add flavors as their store became more popular and in the early 1960’s they were the first to introduce Mango ice cream to the Bay Area.

Mango quickly became (and remains to this day) their number one seller. As the neighborhood changed and became more diverse, they increased the number of tropical flavors that they manufactured by importing a variety of exotic fruit from the Philippines.

Taste the difference. We make super-premium ice cream, made with 16% butterfat, and that’s what makes our ice cream taste so rich and creamy. With over 40 flavors to choose from, there’s always something new to try.

Whether it’s on a waffle cone, sugar cone, plain cone, waffle bowl, or in a cup, the options are endless.

Most of our flavors are gluten free and do not contain eggs, but please call us at (415) 648-2300 to ask about specific flavors if you have a gluten or egg allergy.

About of Boba Tea

Boba Tea AKA “Bubble Tea”, is a drink that originates in Taiwan consisting of different types of tea with added chewy tapioca balls or jellies that are consumed through a large straw. There are different types of flavored Jelly and Poppers that you can add to your Boba Tea as well.

All these toppings and teas creates different textures and delicious sensations in your mouth. We serve bubble tea, smoothies, slushes, hot drinks for winter, and delicious Thai desserts. The drink combinations are endless and it is an awesome experience that everyone can enjoy!
